Rawnessa was born when founder Vanessa Conte looked at the ingredients of the brand name skin moisturizer she had been applying to her face for some time and thought:
"I wouldn't consider ingesting a single ingredient so why would I want to put these harmful ingredients on my skin?"
Conte just didn't understand why anyone would want to put so many unnatural, unhealthy chemicals on the skin, the body's largest organ.
This sparked Prettynessa, Rawnessa's first moisturizer for the face. Made through a special process where the ingredients were not heated above 120°F, so that the vitamin and mineral rich content of the organic cold-pressed oils and raw butters was preserved. After making the product, and using it for a couple of weeks, Conte noticed a significant improvement in her skin. Smaller pores, softer and more hydrated skin, and a significant reduction in fine lines were noticeable signs of healthier skin. Friends and family also began noticing the improvements and asking what she was doing differently. Conte was ecstatic to share her recent creation! The feedback she received was fantastic! Friends and family who had been loyal to brand name skin-care products for years were putting those products aside to make room for Rawnessa. That's when she knew she was onto something. An amazing product that generated great results and was truly healthy, pure, and good for the skin. It was food for the skin.
Since that time, more products have been added to the Rawnessa line. We've added moisturizers, lip balm, and exfoliators, to name a few. Each and every Rawnessa product is made with the highest quality ingredients and hand-crafted with love and care.
